About Urban Thread Co.
Urban Thread Co. is a demonstration e-commerce clothing website created as a final web design project. The purpose of this website is to show how a modern online clothing store can be designed using HTML5, CSS, and basic JavaScript. The store focuses on simple and stylish essentials such as t-shirts, hoodies, and hats.
This project was chosen because it is practical, realistic, and a strong way to apply the web development skills learned throughout the course. It includes page navigation, product displays, color selection, a shopping cart using localStorage, a checkout form, responsive design, images, video, and external links. Although the website does not process real payments, it is designed to simulate the experience of shopping online.
The overall design of Urban Thread Co. uses a matte gray and white color theme to create a clean and modern appearance. The layout is intentionally simple so that users can navigate the site easily on both desktop and mobile devices.
